This role afforded me the opportunity to learn a new digital programme, MacStitch, as well as gain an insight into the interiors side of the textiles industry. Specialising in Integrated Digital Practice at university equipped me with the knowledge and ability to learn and adapt to new software at a faster pace; allowing me to aid the company in a particular project I was given. This project involved a collaboration with a company called Fine Cell Work who collaborate with designers, such as Susy Paisley, who will create designs which can then be translated into a tapestry format to eventually be hand stitched by prisoners.
