During my time here my roles included Embroidery and Embellishment Intern and Studio Manager. These roles allowed me to develop my skills in embroidery and embellishment, as well as in design development, hand finishing, making buttonholes, appliqué, using an embroidery frame and completing tech videos for others to learn from. Being Studio Manager enabled me to improve upon my ability to teach others and adapt to each person's learning style, in turn increasing my confidence. As well as this, I was able to learn a lot about pattern cutting and garment construction as well as being entrusted to use the industrial sewing machine; all of which has been invaluable experience.
