My work is primarily inspired by architecture, geometric design and my surroundings - finding shapes and patterns within my environment to form designs. Colour is a key interest of mine and is a focus in all my designs - particularly using bright colour to create bold, fun prints. Also, integral to my project work are the juxtapositions within my patterns - history and modernity, geometricity and fluidity. Having recently graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Textiles: Innovation and Design, and a Diploma in Professional Studies, I am now looking for opportunities within the fashion and textiles industry.
